With Gameweek 22 just a few days away, we look at players who provide good options as differentials. We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","Clean Sheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points".
Our Gameweek 22 choices are as follows:
Neil Etheridge, 4.6%, 8.4%
Firstly we have Neil Etheridge, the second most famous sporting Filipino (after Manny Pacquiao). The former Fulham trainee Goalkeeper is having an amazing season so far and is currently the 2nd highest scoring goalkeeper. Beating the likes of Lloris, De Gea, Ederson and Fabianski. Etheridge is the top value player in the entire game with 19.8 points per million, he’s the top penalty saver in the game with 3 saved penalties and has the second amount of saves only behind the save master Lucas Fabianski by one save 79 to 78. Still not convinced? Cardiff’s next 5 fixtures offer excellent clean sheet potential. They play Huddersfield, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Southampton in the next 5 games, 3 relegation threatened teams and in the reverse games Cardiff kept a clean sheet in all three. He’s not going to the Asian cup with the Philippines as he has opted to stay with Cardiff and help them survive this season. So What are you waiting for? Get in this guy or you’ll be sorry
Troy Deeney, 5.9mil, 3.9%
Next up we have the Watford striker Troy Deeney, coming of the back of a 15 point haul, Troy looks to be back to some kind of form which made him a valuable asset in years gone by. He already has matched his 5 goals from last season and you would expect him to easily beat that mark and maybe go on to hit double figures like the two previous seasons. Here are some stats against Bournemouth in the last game Most chances created(5), 3 shots, 2 goals, 1 assist, 100% tackles won, Most aerial duels won(12). He was a Beast in that game and he has 3 goals in his last 3 starts, fixtures against Palace, Burnley and Brighton coming up so a decent chance to get a few more goals in the coming weeks. Oh yeh and he’s on penalties and he’s not facing Etheridge yet. Remember the name, Deeney.. Troy Deeney.
Bernardo Silva, 7.5mil, 7.2%
Lastly we have Silva of the Bernardo variety. Bernardo Silva is as close as you get to nailed these days for City. He’s started all but two games for City this season, but crucially he seems to play 90 or close to 90 minutes in most games unlike the majority of the arsenal at Pep’s disposal. Man City have Wolves, Huddersfield and Newcastle coming up in the next few weeks and City should be coming back into form after a very indifferent run of results. The energetic playmaker has run more than any other player in a single match this season twice so far (13.7km) and has 5 goals and 6 assists. With De Bruyne back and David Silva returning to fitness maybe he might drop out of the team from time to time but that’s part and parcel of owning a city player. Maybe it’s time to ditch a useless City defender/goalkeeper and get in an extra attacking asset to go with Sterling, Sanè, d Silva and Aguero? Maybe?
