Here we suggest some names you were planning to bench but playing them is a good idea , and some other names you probably need to bench rather playing or selling them

**PLAY** :

1. Jamaal Lascelles ( £4.6m , TSB : 5.4% ) vs BHA H

Despite being unable to keep Clean Sheets for a long time , we think Newcastle have a good chance to do it this time when they host Brighton . The reason is that the Seagulls didn't score any away goal since netting one at Swansea back in November .

2. Laurent Depoitre ( £5.4m , TSB : 6.5% ) vs BUR H

It's a good opportunity for Depoitre to extend his goal tale against a broken Burnley who conceded 5 goals in 5 days and are still missing some of their key defenders . Meanwhile Depoitre was involved in 4 of the 6 goals Huddersfield scored between GW18 and GW20 (2G+2A). It would be a waste if you own him and keep him on bench .

3. Ahmed Hegazi ( £4.5m , TSB : 18.8% ) vs ARS H

We are gambling with this man , but we think he deserves being on this list because of his good form and the solidity West Brom showed in the last few games . I mean if you did it against Liverpool in GW17 and against Everton in GW20 , why wouldn't you do it again when facing Arsenal ?

**BENCH** :

1. Marko Arnautovic ( £6.9m , TSB : 2.4% )

The bench existed for players you want in your team but you don't want to earn points from , and this is exactly the case of Arnautovic who will definitely make a huge difference next GW when he plays 2 games , but is totally useless in this blank gameweek . So instead of selling him make him warm that third spot on the bench and then play him next Tuesday

2. Harry Maguire ( £5.3m , TSB : 10.5% ) vs LIV A

While he assisted a goal in the reverse fixture earlier this season , we don't Maguire is a good pick for this GW , I mean what are the odds that the same defender gets involved in goals against the same team in both home and away games , let it be against Liverpool who conceded only 3 home league goals this season . On the other side of the pitch , it looks very unlikely that the Foxes escape from the Reds attack which is the team who scored the most goals in the last 2 gameweeks (8) and already netted 3 in the King Powers Stadium earlier this season .

3. Maya Yoshida ( £4.8m , TSB : 3.4% ) vs MUN A

How to get over being tortured by Spurs in boxing day ? for the Saints it's by going to Manchester and face United in their home . Big blow and a very hard test to experience for them , while for us FPL managers all we can do is benching our Southampton defenders in order to avoid one more bad return .
