Hello, guys I, Biebek, is back with my weekly dose after disappearing for 2 GWs (never mind if you did not notice :D).
This weekly segment offers you a player from each of the four different positions in FPL, who holds the maximum prospect of performing well in the given week based on an analysis of fixture, form, tendency, and underlying stats
GOALKEEPER: FOSTER vs Stoke A
KEY STAT: Cheapest and the nailed on GK
Prediction: Clean Sheet
West Brom have only conceded 2 goals under their new manager, Alan Pardew, despite playing against big teams like Liverpool (I know they are struggling in recent years, but they are still big team
DEFENDER: Masuaku vs Newcastle H
Key stat: A great differential player with good attacking potential.
Prediction: Clean sheet + attacking returns.
"I am good enough to manage any teams in the world," lets disregard this statement from David Moyes, but we cannot disregard the impact he has had at Hammers so far: Won last three league games with clean sheets. Masuaku is playing as a left wing-back and comes at just 4.4. He has managed 3 shots and 2 attempted assists in the last 4 league games. Hammers take on Newcastle this weekend who have slipped into the relegation zone with a dip in their form.
MIDFIELDER: Kevin De Bruyne vs Bournemouth H
Key stat: Scores with his weak left foot and assists with his right.
Prediction: Involvement in multiple goals.
With 6 goals and 8 assists, Kevin has been involved in 14 goals in the league already. In the last 4 league games, he has managed 7 shots on target, more than any other Premier League mid-field player despite paying deep in the central midfield. In those 4 games, he also has managed 13 attempted assists. With all the key players rested in the midweek cup games, Man City take on Cherries this weekend against whom City have been showering goals. If you own him, start rubbing your hand.
FORWARD: KANE vs Burnley A
KEY STAT: Striker with the highest FPL return.
Prediction: Double-digit points.
Despite delivering points inconsistently in FPL, we definitely cannot question Harry Kane's form. He has managed more than 50 points in away games this season. With no cup game in midweek, Spurs should be pumped up to get back in the winning ways after their humiliating defeat against Man City last week. With all premium striker facing tricky fixtures this weekend, Kane is the one we have our bets on.
