With Gameweek 13 just a few days away, we look at players who provide good options as differentials. We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","Clean Sheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points". Our Gameweek 13 choices are as follows:
WILDCARD Harry Maguire - Leicester (£5.2m)
Maguire : Shots per game 0.2 , Assists : 3 , Big chances created : 2
Tackles per Game : 1.7
Leicester @ A : 9 Goals Scored in 7 Matches [11 Goals Conceded in 7 matches]
Newcastle H : 8 Goals Conceded in 7 matches. [7 goals scored in 7 matches]
Next 3 fixtures : new,sou,CRY (2/5)
Maguire's tally of one goal, three assists and four clean sheets is hard to be ignored. Taking into consideration that Leicester started the season poorly and seemed to be finding their feet only weeks ago, that record is even more attractive. On top of that, Maguire is not only solid defensively but also every time Leicester get a set piece, he goes up front trying to score so you should expect returns at both ends of the pitch, possibly this gameweek as Leicester will travel to face the unconsistent Newcastle United.
SELECTION Mesut Ozil - Arsenal (£9.3m)
Ozil : 2 Goals & 5 Assist , Shots per game : 1
Arsenal A : 8 Goals Scored In 7 Matches [12 GC in 7 matches]
Southampton H : 9 Goals Conceded in 8 matches. [10 goals scored in 8 matches]
Next 3 Fixtures : sou, whu, NEW ( 2/5 )
Arsenal were highly unlucky to score only one goal last gameweek against Manchester United but that will only become another motivation for them to win this week away to Southampton. Mesut Ozil, featuring in as short as 2.2% of teams at the moment, will be looking to help Arsenal get back to winning ways. With his tally of two goals and 5 assists this term, you can tell that he's more than capable of wonders.
DREAM: Philippe Coutinho - Liverpool (£8.9m)
Coutinho : 4 Goals & 5 Assist , Shots per game : 2
Liverpool H : 13 Goals Scored In 7 Matches [2 GC in 7 matches]
Everton A : 16 Goals Conceded in 7 matches. [5 goals scored in 7 matches]
Next 3 Fixtures : EVE, WBA, bou ( 2/5 )
You probably know already that £1m is a whole lot at life and because of budget restrictions, that is even more valuable in fantasy football. At the time of writing this article, Mohamed Salah has become the player who rose the most in price so far this season, and is now priced at £9.9m (initially £9m) and if you don't own him already, you can buy his own teammates Philippe Coutinho - for £1m less!
Currently owned by 7.3% of FPL managers, the Brazilian scored 4 goals and and assisted 5 already - he shone notably last week against Brighton scoring a goal and creating three, a performance that was worth 18 FPL points and with Liverpool hosting Everton who seem defensively shaky, a similar performance can't be ruled out.
