H17 2019-11-28 Fixture Analysis

Hello everyone, it is #LCFC83 with you again this week. #KM29 is currently on leave with stress caused by being an Arsenal fan. That probably means I am still here for GW15 because Pukki must be due to have a party.

Liverpool haven't been at their best in front of goal in recent times but the fixtures ahead suggest they could find some top form. Brighton visit Anfield on GW14 and you have to worry for the Seagulls because they conceded 3 goals in their last away game at Man United. Everton and Watford also visit in the next couple of weeks and with both currently dire at the back you have to expect goals. It is hard to look past Mane (£12.2m) who sits 20 points ahead of Salah who is the same value. The Senegal forward has scored in his last 3 Premier League games and is proven to be destructive in spells. Robert Firmino (£9.4m) ended a run of 6 blanks with a goal in his last game. He has had a hand in 20+ goals in each of the last 3 seasons. Firmino may find some form now and may provide an option for those looking to replace the injured Aguero.

Aston Villa easily beat Newcastle 2-0 on GW13 but failed to create any clean cut chances in that game from open play which has to be a concern. The idea of playing around Grealish (£5.9m) who is far too greedy is something that needs to be looked at given that Villa have scored only 6 times in their last 5 matches. Trips to Man United and Chelsea before a home match against Leicester suggests that record won't improve soon. The popular McGinn (£5.9m) hasn't found the net in his last 6 matches whilst Wesley (£6m) is on a run of 5 consecutive blanks. If you own any Villa attackers then this is the time to consider replacements.

We keep choosing Leicester on the fixture analysis and they keep rewarding. The Foxes have conceded just 8 goals so far this season and have now kept 4 consecutive clean sheets. Schmeichel (£5.2m) is now the joint top scoring keeper in FPL this campaign. Ahead of him, Soyuncu (£5m) has offered incredible value and Chilwell (£5.8m) is still very interesting due to his attacking threat and fair price. Everton visit the King Power on GW14 with confidence rock bottom. Watford and Norwich also visit in the next few weeks meaning plenty of hope for good points returns. If you don't have a Leicester option at the back by now then you should have.

Everton have only 14 points on the board after 13 games and could be anchored in the bottom 3 by the time Burnley visit Goodison Park on Boxing Day. It is easy to blame Marco Silva but the sale of workhorse Idrissa Gueye and horrific injury to Andre Gomes has significantly weakened their midfield. Their next 5 games look horrendous to say the least and start with trips to Leicester and neighbours Liverpool. Owning any Toffee's player at this stage looks brave or totally stupid. Lucas Digne (£5.9m) has had 1 assist in 9 games and can't be kept at his current price. Pickford (£5.5m) has scored 26 points in the last 11 matches with his only significant return being the 8 points he gained against the equally hapless West Ham. Michael Keane (£5.4m) is doing even worse picking up a 1 point return 7 times in 9 matches before going down to scoring zero against Norwich.
