GAMEWEEK 7 INJURY UPDATES ; PREMIER LEAGUE FANTASY FOOTBALL 2019/20

H17 2019-09-27 Injury Update

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Marcus #Rashford: "He's recovering. He's not very, very bad, so we hope to see him before the international break."
on Diogo #Dalot and Angel #Gomes: "They're injured, they haven't trained the last couple of days unfortunately. Hopefully they can be back for Alkmaar next week."

Solskjaer: "Paul [#Pogba] was really struggling with his ankle as it was really swollen, so let’s see how that repairs. He got 90 minutes but was sore towards the end again."
"Phil [#Jones] will be out until after the international break. I don’t think we’ll see Anthony [#Martial] before the international break. No, I don’t think so. Luke [Shaw] is improving so, hopefully, we’ll see him.”
on whether Mason #Greenwood is ready for a start v Arsenal: "He might be, because he's proven when he's been on the pitch in the last two games he's started against Astana and Rochdale, when you get him in the box, he's dangerous."

Klopp on #Sadio Mane and Divock #Origi: "Both trained yesterday, Sadio and Div, completely normal, no issues."
on #Alisson: "Getting closer and closer. Ali's not in contention for tomorrow, it looks like maybe he can train with the team from Sunday on. Don't know 100% but it's really close."

Manuel Pellegrini says that, other than Michail #Antonio and Winston #Reid, the rest of his squad are "okay". Manuel Lanzini has returned to train with the team "in the last three or four days".
on #Lanzini: "Manuel, he returned to work with the team the last two or three days. He has no pain in his feet. He doesn't have any problems. He's in the squad list."

Rodgerson #Maddison: "We’ll see over the next couple of days. He’s obviously going to be a doubt for the game. He’s back out, he's putting some weight on his ankle so we’ll see over the coming days."

Frank Lampard on Olivier #Giroud's absence: "He has been ill and it took him out of Liverpool and he is still on the recovery."
on Antonio #Rudiger: "Toni has got a recurring injury in his groin area. We're trying to find a solution because he's still got some pain. We're hopeful it won't be long but I haven't got an end date for you."
on Andreas #Christensen: "Andreas should be OK. He has trained with us today, he's missed most of the week. There's still a tiny but of pain but hopefully not a risk. He will be in the squad."
on Reece #James and Callum Hudson-#Odoi: "Yeah they're in the squad. They performed well the other day. They still have improvement, they're young players, but they've shown their quality. Now they're back fit, they're pushing."
"#Emerson now is going to be the other side of the international break with the hamstring injury. Ruben [Loftus-Cheek] we can't give a date but he's outside jogging slowly. We'll see how that goes over the next weeks, months."

Graham Potter on Shane #Duffy: "It sounds like he has had either a kick or something in his calf. Obviously it is a concern for us. We will see how it settles down in the next 24 or 48 hours."
"We protected Glenn [#Murray] but he's fine, he trained today. The longer-term ones, Berny [Bernardo] had a knock a few weeks ago. It's just irritated his knee a little bit. It needs to settle down but he won't make the weekend."
"#Trossard is making really good progress. Obviously the game's a bit too soon for him at the weekend. [Maupay] is fine, he trained today."

Wilder on injury news: "They should be alright from last night because nobody made a tackle! I think everybody is absolutely fine apart from David #McGoldrick, who's very, very doubtful."

Ralph Hasenhuttl: "Only the long-time injured players like Moussa [#Djenepo] are still out. Alex #McCarthy has a little problem with his muscle, maybe if it's too much risk to sit him on the bench, then he stays at home and we'll take another goalkeeper."
on #Djenepo: "We took a few new pictures, there's not much to say at the moment. He's still out, it will take more time. How long, we don't know exactly. At the moment, there is no chance to play for him."
on Danny #Ings: "The most important thing is that he's fit. You can see his quality in every session and today you can feel it gives him a lot of self-confidence, goals are very important for him."

Dyche: "Johann [Berg #Gudmundsson] comes back into the thinking, he was physically fit last weekend but he had [just] two days training so we made a call on that one. Drinky is back on the grass but not with us yet, he'll have a longer period of recovery."
"Dwight [#McNeil] had a dead leg but I'm hoping and expecting that he'll be OK."
on Chris #Wood: "Him and #Barnesy know they have got the shirts at the minute but they know that J-Rod is training hard and training well, trying to affect games when he is coming on. Vyds has popped up lately, looking sharper."

Quique Sanchez Flores: "Troy #Deeney is out of the squad. The other players, they are ready."

Eddie Howe on Bournemouth's injury news: "I think we're pretty much as we were before Southampton."
Arnaut Danjuma (foot), Simon Francis (knee) and Lloyd Kelly (ankle) returned from injury in the EFL Cup defeat to Burton Albion in midweek.

Klopp on #Sadio Mane and Divock #Origi: "Both trained yesterday, Sadio and Div, completely normal, no issues."
