GAMEWEEK 2 PREVIEW : TOP 3 DIFFERENTIALS ; PREMIER LEAGUE FANTASY FOOTBALL 2019/20

H17 2019-08-15 TOP 3 Differentials

Hey all and welcome to a new season of fantasy football premier league. This is the first differential article of the season, hopefully you enjoy reading these over the course of the season and it helps you consider some of these players we will bring you, here goes...

Anthony Martial, 7.6mil, 8.9%

First player for this week is the Man United midfielder Martial. Now Martial played as a striker vs Chelsea and looked pretty good in that position, with Lukaku now departed and Rashford preferred on the wing in the first game, we do expect Martial to get lots of opportunities to lead the line at the Old Trafford club.

Ok he may from time to time start on the left wing but him and Rashford tend to move around the front line freely. In the last two seasons he has hit around 10 in both seasons, and that's from not starting too regularly and also from playing in midfield in a lot of the games. Imagine how much more opportunities and attacking returns he could get as a striker? Both he and Rashford are good options but Martial is worth 0.9 (congratulations if you beat the price increase, you got him for a whole 1million cheaper). Man United have a set of semi tough medium looking fixtures. They are away to Wolves and Southampton and home to Palace and Leicester. So decent fixtures really, and scored a good goal in the last game at home to Chelsea. Plenty of reasons to get the Frenchman in.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles, 5.0mil, 3.3%

Next we have the young Arsenal right wing/ full back Maitland-Niles. With Bellerin injured till at least October and Lichtsteiner and Jenkinson departed, Maitland-Niles has a free reign at right back for the foreseeable future with no real competition or his place. He had great game vs Newcastle and attacked and defended well as proven by these following stats all taken from the away 1-0 victory against Newcastle Un-united.

94 touches, 89% pass accuracy, 4 take-ons, 4 tackles won, 3 interceptions, 3 clearances, 2 fouls won, 1 chance created, 1 assist, 3 bonus points. Brilliant game for the youngster and we expect him to continue in this vein. Arsenal face Burnley at home in a game arsenal will be expecting to win but then comes the difficult two vs Liverpool and Spurs and then West Ham and Villa, so a bit of a mixed bag fixture wise. But 3 out of the next 5 games look to be good chances for a clean sheet and add on the good attacking potential for the lad might be enough for you to give him a go in your roster

Teemu Pukki, 6.5mil, 5.0%

and to finish we have the Finnish Kane, Teemu Pukki. Ok Norwich are not a great team and they have a few difficult fixtures but it's more their defenders who shouldn't really be considered. Norwich were fine attacking wise and made a lot of chances in arguably the toughest place to go to in the premier league. Norwich have 3 home games in the next 4 games, granted two are against top 6 teams Chelsea and Man City, Chelsea looked rubbish defensively vs United and the other home game is their next game vs the tactically inept Steve Bruce and his Newcastle team. (Also face West Ham away). Last season Pukki scored 29 goals, ok it's only in the championship but it's still an amazing total regardless of the league.

He looked good vs Liverpool and also had two attempted assists in that game. Join the thousands of other FPL managers to bring in the on fire forward. He's not finished, he's only 28 !
