With Gameweek 34 just a few days away, we look at players who provide good options as differentials. We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","Clean Sheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points".
Our Gameweek 34 choices are as follows
Mathew Ryan. 4.4mil. 4.4% owned
For this slightly increased gameweek we start with Mat Ryan. This week we will be featuring two Brighton players, because they will play 4 games in the next two weeks we think there is great value in owning a couple of them in the coming weeks. So Ryan, Brighton do have a decent solid defence, especially at home (where they play both games this GW) with 3 clean sheets in their last 6 home league games. They play Bournemouth and Cardiff at home this gameweek, you would at least expect one clean sheet, especially against Cardiff (only 4 away goals in the last 7 games - going goalless in 4 on those matches). Plus double the games equals double the save points. Ryan is pretty much a guaranteed starter and is cheap as chips at 4.4mil..
Anthony Knockaert. 5.2mil. 0.8%
Ok so on to the second Brighton player, if your defence is pretty settled and you wish to bring in a Brighton player further up front then look no further then the tricky French whinger .. sorry I mean winger. We thought long and hard about who to pick and we came up against these pitfalls.. Glenn Murray (great striker, but is rotating with Andone), Fabian Groß (injured), Propper and Stephens (little attacking threat), Solly March (doubtful) and Jahanbakhsh (overpriced and poor form). So we picked Knockaert, his form is decent, 2 assists and one goal in his last 5 and a bit games plus will be full of confidence after his man of the match display against Man City in the FA cup semi at Wembley. As stated above on the Mat Ryan piece Brighton play at home to Bournemouth and Cardiff in GW34, then away to Wolves and Spurs in GW35 followed by a home game vs a Newcastle team who suck away from home. So a good and bad mixed bag of fixtures but mostly good. Expect him to start at least 3 of the games .. get him in !! He may deliver the Knockaert blow to your mini league opponents
Christian Eriksen. 9.2mil. 6.3%
Lastly we have the Great Dane, Christian Eriksen. Fresh from a 20 point haul in GW32, the highest score of the round he will be in great confidence ahead of the Huddersfield game at the new stadium. Huddersfield are a terrible team with ex Leicester clown Ben Hamer in the terriers goal we can expect a hatful of goals and chances from the likes of Son, Eriksen and Alli. Kane looks to be injured unfortunately, but it will be down to the supporting acts to save Spurs faltering season. Eriksen is in good form obviously with that 20 point haul a couple of gameweeks ago and has 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 3 home games, in contrast Huddersfield have conceded 10 goals in the last 3 games. Spurs face Huddersfield at home followed by Man City away and Brighton at home in the double GW. Then in GW36 they host West Ham in a London Derby. We fully expect Eriksen to add to his 11 assists and 6 goals this season..
