GAMEWEEK 19 : 3 PLAYERS TO PLAY VS 3 PLAYERS TO BENCH

H17 2017-12-22 Others

Here we suggest some names you were planning to bench but playing them is a good idea , and some other names you probably need to bench rather playing or selling them

**PLAY** :

1. Dominic Calvert-Lewin ( £5.4m , TSB : 11.2% ) vs CHE H

Everton scored in each of their last 8 games , including 11 goals in the last 5 games , and Calvert-Lewin helped well in this period of time by scoring 37 points (26 of them in the last 5 games). He totally deserves a place in your XI as Chelsea were unable to keep a Clean Sheet in their last 3 away games .

2. Charlie Austin ( £6.2m , TSB : 5.0% ) vs HUD H

we know he was benched last GW , but we are certain that he will start ahead of Gabbiadini this time . And when he plays he brings joy to his owners , in fact he scored 4 goals in his last 4 starts . Moreover , Austin has been directly involved in 6 goals in 7 previous league appearances against the Terriers (4 goals, 2 assists).

3. Ruben Loftus-Cheek ( £4.6m , TSB : 8.2% ) vs SWA A

After making an assist last GW , we think that the cheapest active midfielder of the game deserves to be played this weekend . Crystal Palace are playing decent football lately and they are able to smash Swansea the way they did with Leicester , and with this guy in midfield we can tell that he has a good chance to contribute in goals again.

**BENCH** :

1. Nacho Monreal ( £5.8m , TSB : 14.6% ) vs LIV H

We are all impressed with Arsenal defensive record this season , and how Monreal is scoring points from nowhere , but we are all also aware that Liverpool is one of two teams you can't trust your defenders when facing them . It's true that Salah is stealing the show but all their forwards (aka the fantastic four) are unstoppable , and the case is darker for the Gunners who conceded at least 3 goals in each of their 4 Premier League matches against Liverpool since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, conceding 14 in total (L3 D1). So don't risk it and bench Nacho .

2. Abdoulaye Doucouré ( £5.4m , TSB : 13.3% ) vs BHA A

Remember that this article can suggest you to keep your player benched instead of selling him ? well that's exactly why we are including Doucouré in our Bench list . He will be absent because he got 1 game ban after receiving his 5th yellow card , but then he'll be back straight to the starting XI of Watford . He didn't miss any minute of the last 18 GameWeeks , and got more than the standard 2 points in 11 of them . Here's a fun fact : the total points he had on the 5 games he received yellow cards is 17 pts , which is more than 3 points per game (don't forget the -1 for a YC ).

points in reverse fixture : 3

3. Robert Elliot ( £4.1m , TSB : 23.4% ) vs WHU A

Despite getting his first CS in the reverse fixture earlier this season , it's a big gamble to put Elliot in your team and we recommend you don't do it . This West Ham is so much different to the one they faced back in GW3 : not the same manager , not the same spirit and not the same form ; the hammers got 7 points in the last 4 fixtures (MCI , CHE , ARS , STK) with 5 goals scored . Another reason to not believe in Newcastle's keeper being his failure to keep CS , the last time he did it was back in GW9 .
