With Gameweek 19 just a few days away, we look at players who provide good options at a budget. Having covered some good choice defenders in gameweek 18, we shift our attention to some offensive players who can be the gamechanger you need!
We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","CleanSheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points". Our Gameweek 19 choices are as follows:
MID : Ilkay Gundogan (MCI) - £5.3m
With the absence of David Silva, saw the introduction of Ilkay Gundogan in gameweek 18. Seizing the opportunity, he managed to net a goal, provide an assist and pick up 2 bonus points. He has registered 7 shots, with 3 of them being on target and 1 resulting in a goal. Boasting a 90% passing accuracy and winning 71% of his tackles made, he surely has the credentials to pick up more points as Guardiola might choose to start him again ahead of their match against Bournemouth. Man City remain undefeated at home and unless they suffer 7 injuries, with the remaining squad players deciding to play the match using high heels; their winning streak looks sure to continue!
MID : Bakary Sako (CRY) - £4.9m
Having scored in the last 2 gameweeks, Sako looks to have definite appeal as a starter ahead of gameweek 19 with Christian Benteke serving a 1 match suspension having picked up his 5th yellow card of the season. They face a Swansea side who have conceded 14 goals at home. Showing resilience under the management of Roy Hodgson, Crystal Palace picked up their first win away from home, demolishing an in-form Leicester City side 3-0. Having taking 5 shots with 3 being on target, Sako could very well find himself getting more points to his name this gameweek.
FWD : Laurent Depoitre (HUD) - £5.3m
Having demolished an in-form Watford side in gameweek 18, Depoitre played a pivotal role in that outstanding performance. Managing to score a goal, register 2 assists and pick up 2 bonus points, Depoitre has put himself as one of the leading contenders of best budget forwards to consider in the weeks to follow as he found the back of the net in gameweek 17 as well. He has taken 13 shots this season, with 7 of them being on target. Huddersfield have favourable fixtures from gameweek 19 - 24. They face Southampton away in gameweek 19, which could go either way, however the in-form striker could play a major role in affecting that outcome.
