With Gameweek 13 just a few days away, we look at players who can stretch your budget and hopefully bring in some points too. We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","Clean Sheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points". Our Gameweek 13 choices are as follows:
DEF : James Tarkowski (BUR) - £4.5m
Having played every minute thus far, Tarkowski comes from a team that have showed their strength defensively by keeping 6 clean sheets in total, with 3 of them coming from the last 3 gameweeks. Burnley have favourable fixtures from gameweek 14 -18 and although they face Arsenal this gameweek, they have only conceded 2 goals from their 6 fixtures played at home, with Arsenal having won only 1 of their 6 fixtures played away thus far. With a 73% passing accuracy and 57% of his tackles won, he is a worthwhile inclusion at that price tag. With Burnley having the same points as Arsenal in the league table, Tarkowski looks to be a cheap investment with a strong possibility of high returns as there is no reason as to why the cleansheets can't continue!
MID : Wilfred Zaha (CRY) - £6.8m
Since his return from injury, Zaha has been showing that vital flair that the Crystal Palace side had been lacking. Netting 3 goals from 6 starts and averaging 4.7 points per match, he is highly influential in the box and seems to be the centre of play in his side. With favourable fixtures from gameweek 13 - 19 , Zaha can pick up some points as 8 of his 17 shots taken have been on target and 3 of them resulting in goals. Although having a 58% passing accuracy and 67% of his tackles being won, which arent the most impressive of statistics, he still is a game changer, who at any given moment can punish defenses. Playing Stoke at home this weekend, Crystal Palace have scored 6 goals at Selhurst Park but more importantly Stoke have conceded 13 goals away from home. Zaha certainly needs no invitation to make his presence felt and can reward his faithful owners!
FWD : Callum Wilson (BOU) - £6.0m
Coming off a highly impressive gameweek 12 bagging 17 points, everyone should definitely sit up and take note of this cheap option third striker who had no issue netting a hattrick in his last start. With 4 of his 8 shots taken being on target and a 73% passing accuracy, Wilson has shown that he can be a major threat in the box. Playing Swansea away from home, Bournemouth have scored just 4 goals but more importantly Swansea have conceded 10 goals at home thus far. High on confidence at the moment, with favourable fixtures from gameweek 13 - 16 , Callum Wilson should be leading the ranks as a third option striker especially after showing what he is capable of!
