With Gameweek 10 just a few days away, we look at players who can stretch your budget and hopefully bring in some points too. We look at "Form", "Average Points Per Match","Goals Scored","Assists","Clean Sheets","Influence","Creativity","Threat","Passing Accuracy","Tackles Won" and "Bonus Points". Our Gameweek 10 choices are as follows:
DEF : Jamaal Lascelles (NEW) - £4.7m
Having gained 41 points thus far, Lascelles is showing himself to be quite useful, scoring 2 goals and keeping 3 clean sheets at the same time. With a 78% passing accuracy, he has shown creativity and can continue his good run of form. Raking up 4 bonus and with 2 favourable fixtures next in line, he can yet again get some points in the bag. Newcastle take on a Burnley side who have only scored 2 goals at home thus far, which could count in Lascelles favour as another possible clean sheet looks to be on the horizon.
MID : Abdoulaye Doucoure' (WAT) - £5.4m
Having scored 4 goals, Doucoure' is a highly influential player for Watford. Gaining an impressive 9 bonus points, with an 86% passing accuracy and 80% tackles won, he looks to be a player to watch this season. Having played every minute, with an average of 5.3 points per match, he looks to be a definite inclusion as Watford have 4 favourable fixtures lined up. They face a Stoke side who HAVE NOT WON away from home and conceding 11 goals in the process. It would come as no surprise to see Doucoure' add to his impressive points tally of 48 for the season thus far.
FWD : Shinji Okazaki (LEI) - £5.6m
Shinji comes into gameweek 10 having scored 4 goals, accumulating 4 bonus points and in total having 31 points to his name. 7 out of his 11 shots have been on target and he looks to be quite useful in attack paired with Jamie Vardy. Having won 75% of his tackles made, he does show some ability with his ball possession. Leicester take on an Everton side who have just sacked manager Ronald Koeman and that could highly count in their favour as they could capitalise on a side who have been on a dismal run of form. Leicester have scored 6 goals at home thus far but more importantly, Everton HAVE NOT WON away from home, conceding 8 goals. The Okazak Attack could bag some points in this fixture!
