GAMEWEEK 6 REVIEW : Lessons Learned

H17 2017-09-26 Others

Hello guys and welcome to this GW6 Review & tips ! in this article we're gonna sum-up the whole GW and squeeze out the lessons to be learned

let's start from the defense. 7 teams got out of this GW with CS that are
Burnley and Huddersfield against each other
MCI vs CRY H
MUN vs SOU A
CHE vs STK A
BRI vs NEW H
and ARS vs WBA H
this was the 2nd CS for Burnley in the last 3 games
#Ward should be your priority due to his attacking role if you wanna consider investing in their defense
Huddersfield nail their fourth CS and #Lowe seems like the best option. his price is expected to rise like zanka and schindler, so you may wanna pick him up early
for more expensive options, you can consider defenders from MUN ( 5 cs so far ) ,MCI ( 4 ) , CHE ( 3 ) & ARS ( 3)
#Jones £5.1m proved once again that he is a bargain ! 5 Cs in 6 matches! + 3 BPS in last game
#Otamendi at £5.6m is another bargain defender with no rotation risk , unlike Stones £5.4m
#Kolasinac £6.0 started the 3rd consecutif match , as a Wing Back! keeping a 3rd consecutive CS! with promising attacking display ( 2 assists so far )
+ Arsenal have supposedly easy upcoming fixtures : BRI , wat , eve , SWA
#Azpilicueta come at little higher price 6.5 but that's nothing for a defender who provide 4 assists so far and 4 CS
To conclude, you should get at least two defenders from either MUN MCI ARS TOT CHE and fill the other places with defenders from BUR + HUD + SOU
and we're gonna keep an eye on Gibbs who started his 2nd consecutive match for WBA as a wing back and set peices taker.

now let's talk about midfield : it's been a great GW for:
#Salah, who scored once again to become Liverpool's top scorer so far with 4G & 2A.
#Erikson and #Alli, who swapped roles this week as Alli provided two assist and Erikson scored once.
Chances are that every goal for spurs will be scored by Kane or Alli & Assisted by Eriksen or Alli! so having one of them in your team is basically a must!
#Silva, who became the top FPL assister with 6 assists after providing twice against Crystal Palace this week
He seems to have acquired a new role this season making him a more profitable option than KdB £10.0, who was unfortunately a flop in this GW.
#Mkhitarian was also a flop in GW6, but then again he'll be facing Crystal Palace home in the next round.
It was a bad GW for budget midfielders such as Jesse , Choupo- Moting , Brady , Atsu , Ritchie , Mooy , Loftus-Cheek , GroB , Doucouré and Redmond
#Richarlison who scored his second goal this season was practically the only exception.
Our tip for midfield is to make sure you have at least two of the super midfielders we mentionned earlier.
We'll be keeping an eye on Ramsey, Tom Davies, Sterling (5G in his last 4 EPL) and Sané in case they become regular starters.

Moving on to the attacking line. This GW witnessed almost every big name scoring goals
#Aguero, he didnt disappoint as he scored and assisted, be warned however that he's at rotation risk, due to the CL game on Tuesday and he'll be facing Chelsea on GW7
#Lukaku who scored but once seems pretty consistant with 6G in 6 Matches , playing CRY next GW! possible hattrick loading
#Kane and #Lacazette netted a brace punishing their doubters.
but #Morata selected by 20% was the star of this GW with a hattrick. the spanish scored 6 goals and provided two assists so far and is already getting the biggest share of the transfers in.
the biggest forward flops for GW6 were Firmino, vardy, rooney and jesus.
Our advice for the attacking line is simply spending big money on it by getting 3 of top 5 expensive forwards.

One last tip, leave your transfers till after the CL and EL games to avoid injuries,
you may also want to consider saving your free transfer if you can, for the international break that's coming after GW7.
