Gameweek 4 Review : Clean Sheets Analysis

H17 2017-09-14 FPL Clean Sheets

It is that time again where we look at the teams who've managed to keep a Clean Sheet over the weekend's fixtures, look at they upcoming games and name one or two budget options from they backline.

#ManchesterCity have managed to keep a clean sheet against an exquisite liverpool attack. They've got home games against Palace,Stoke and Burnley and away games against Watford,Chelsea and West Brom. The attacking full backs of #Mendy and #Walker (both 6.5) could run riot whilst Stones(5.5) is the budget option.

#Tottenham proved they defence is resilient once again by keeping a CS at Goodison Park in last weeks encounter against the Toffees. They next 4 fixtures are excellent as they play home games against Swansea and Bournmouth and away trips to Huddersfield and West Ham.Ben #Davies (5.7) is the most sought out player in the last 24 hours and for good reasons. The defender is the highest scoring player in the game now and has produced more crosses and successful crosses than any other player in the Premier League.

#Watford have kept they 3rd consecutive clean sheet this season under new boss Marco Silva. They fixtures are not that great though as they play Manchester City,Chelsea and Arsenal in they next 5 games.Kiko #Femenia (4.5) is the man to go for if you are going for a Watford defender. He is the highest scoring player in Watford and could chip in assists as well.

#Arsenal have kept they first Clean Sheet against Bournmouth over the weekend and could get more after next weeks fixture against Chelsea goes out of the way. They have successive home games against West Brom and Burnley and an away trip to Watford in GW 8.Although #Kolasinac (6.0) is not a budget option, he could as well deliver the goods. He is very attacking as he already has two assist to his name this season.

#Burnley as predicted by many have kept a CS against a poor Palace side that have failed to find the back of the net this season.Burnley have very tough away fixtures over the next 6 Gameweeks (Liverpool,Everton and City) whilst they have fairly easy home games against Huddersfield,West ham and Newcastle. The wise option would be to play a Burnley defender, preferably Ben #Mee (4.5) for the home games and play a Stoke defender in place of him as they rotate well.It is also worthy to note that Tom Heaton has sustained an injury last weekend so they also risk of conceding.

#Newcastle are another team that has managed to keep back to back to back Clean Sheet. They have home games against Stoke Liverpool and Palace and away trips to Brighton and Southampton in the next 5.Rob #Elliot (4.0)is the only starting Goalkeeper,so for those needing a 0.5,Elliot is your man.Jamaal #Lascelles (4.5) and #Ciaran Clark are both exciting options due to they aerial threat. They both scored a goal this season.

#Westham managed to keep Steve Mounie and co quite on Monday night as the hammers earned they first CS the season after conceding 9 goals in they opening 3 fixtures. It is not wise to go for a West Ham defender but if you are considering one Aaron #Cresswell is the go-to option. The new 3-4-3 system suits him well.West face home games against Brighton,Swansea and Spurs and away games against West Brom and Burnley.
